Swallow falls Pools

The weather continues fine and dry with good Autumn colours around The top Swallow Falls Pool

Fly fishing this pool is ideal for the right hander, good long back casts can be made.

Access :   Parking in the layby on the A5 and climb over the stone wall and keeping to the left hand end of the field, make your way down the steep bank to this pool.

Not for the feighnt hearted as it is quite a climb back up again. ( I know as I took these pictures )

 

Although these two pools are quite close to each other there is a distance of about 50 yards between them and bankside access is not easy . This pool is lower downstream than the top one. Casting is reasonable for right handers.
